AutismStillwater.org meets on the third Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8:00 PM at HeadStart located at 1601 S. Main St. in Stillwater. Click here for directions and a map.
Our hope is to advocate not only for people with autism, but also for those who live and care for them. Often times in our diligent efforts to advocate, we forget to take care of the caregivers. AutismStillwater.org is committed to improving the quality of life by supporting parents, siblings, those on the autism spectrum, and extended family members.

PARENT MEETING
Parents and family members are welcome to come hear others share their areas of need and success stories alike. Our group strives to be a resource for families while providing support in times of need. Many times we find it helpful to have a session where parents are able to share secrets on how they got through stressful times in hopes that other families may hear a method they have not yet thought to try. Issues from potty training to transition services are common amongst many families. It helps to know you are not the only one going through it and hear from others who have made it through.
CHILD CARE
Child care is provided for our meetings. We have connected with many Oklahoma State University professors who provide us with students in differing majors to volunteer their time in exchange for credit on required course hours. The students with majors in special education, elementary, and secondary education as well as speech and occupational therapy come to play while the parents meet. No registration required!
