The following application is provided for ILP students who wish to enroll in the Summer 2020 block of classes between June 30 and August 6, 2020.

All classes are held on Tuesday and Thursdays between the hours of 11 – 2 PM at our main office at  7725 W. Reno; Suite 321

The application is lengthy, so make sure you have adequate time to complete it. The application has 4 sections–

  1. General Information including emergency contact information
  2. Questions to describe your experience as a filmmaker
  3. Specific information about the summer class for which you are applying, each student will chose either Tuesday or Thursday class
  4. Agreement commitments that qualify you to attend ILP

There will also be a friendly, low stress in-person interview for all applicants.

  • Section 1: General Information

  • Please enter name of applicant applying for ILP.
  • Please enter the name of a parent or guardian.
  • Please provide a mailing address for any correspondence.
  • Please provide a student email address that we can contact you at.
  • Your information will help us to better market this program.
  • Section 2: Tell us about your experience with the components of filmmaking

  • Such as screenplays, stage plays, short stories, novels, graphic novels etc.. (Experience is not required for acceptance into the program)
  • Describe any experience with PC or Mac, Adobe software, video editing software such as Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro, Screenwriting software such as Final Draft or Celtx. Music and sound recording software etc... (Experience is not required for acceptance into the program)
  • Describe any experience with video or photography cameras and camera lenses. (Experience is not required for acceptance into the program)
  • Describe your experience
  • Please describe access you would have to computer equipment at home. For example, would you have access to any computers (laptops or desktops), mobile devices with video capabilities, musical equipment, recording devices, etc.?
  • Section 3: Which Summer class are you applying for?

    You must complete this block to be considered for the Summer Block of sessions from June 30th through August 6th
    Creative - Working on screenplay and directing your own short film or Youtube channel. Customl - Working on custom videos for businesses and other advertising work.
    We require that participants provide their own transportation to our location.
  • Section 4 - Agreements to Attend

    Students can miss up to 3 classes before withdrawn from the program, emergencies are understood.
